Arsenal, Liverpool Told £26M For RB Leipzig Star Naby Keita
Reports have emerged claiming that RB Leipzig has set their price for Naby Keita.
BILD reported that RB Leipzig have told Arsenal and Liverpool it will cost them £26million if they hope to sign Keita this summer.
Both Premier League powerhouses have scouted the Guinea international this season, whose performances have been fundamental in ensuring his side have emerged as Bayern Munich’s closest challengers in the Bundesliga.
The 22-year-old midfielder revealed last August he held talks with Arsene Wenger but conceded he was not ready for a move to a club of Arsenal’s stature.
“I had contact with Arsene Wenger, who spoke French to me,” said Keita.
“But Ralf has treated me like a son. He came to France in 2014 to sign me for Salzburg and I trust him entirely.
“I joined RB because it is an exciting club with great potential. I didn’t want to move to a big Champions League club immediately. It’s still too early.”
