Man Utd Reject £13M Lyon Bid For Memphis Depay
Reports are out claiming that Manchester United are holding firm on their asking price for Memphis Depay.
It is said that the Red Devils have turned down Olympique Lyon’s improved offer for the Dutch winger.
Lyon had an initial bid of £11million swiftly rejected by United last week, and their return offer of £13m, plus bonuses, has also been refused.
It is understood that United want at least £15m with add-ons for the 22-year-old Holland international, who cost them £25m when he joined from PSV Eindhoven in June 2015.
Le Parisien further claims that Depay has reached a salary agreement with Lyon and is keen to move to the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, while Les Gones are hopeful of landing the player for the £13m fee they offered.
Lyon manager Bruno Genesio revealed recently that Depay is a priority for his club this January but at present, the two clubs are a little apart in their valuation of the sublimely talented, yet out of form attacking midfielder.
