Marseille Urged To Bid For Sergio Aguero
Reports are out claiming that former Olympique Marseille coach Rolland Courbis has urged them to move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
OM sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta, backed by the cash of owner Frank McCourt, is shopping for a big name attacker.
Courbis told France Football: “There’s one that comes to mind right away, Agüero!
“He seems to want to leave Manchester City. He is a star, certainly underneath the greats like Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar or Suarez, but he can draw a big project.
“He is Argentine, Latin, so ‘OM-compatible’. But he must be very, very expensive! The idea would also be to find a boy who can play with Bafé Gomis.
“There must be a good price-effectiveness ratio with a player in the Marseille mentality, which supports the pressure of the South. We must also stay in line with the great Olympique scorers like Skoblar, Papin, Boksic or Drogba, guys who electrify the Velodrome.”
