Sunderland Favourites To Sign Clint Dempsey

Reports are out claiming that Sunderland have opened talks for Fulham attacker Clint Dempsey.

The Daily Mail reported that Liverpool’s long pursuit of the USA international looks set to end in failure after Sunderland opened talks with the 29 year old.

The former New England Revolution star had expected to tie up a move to Anfield earlier this summer, but the deal collapsed with the two clubs unable to come to an agreement.
