Thierry Henry Hails Stoke, Swansea, West Ham Summer Market Work
It has been reported that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has praised Swansea City boss Garry Monk, along with Stoke City and West Ham, for his summer market work.
Monk added Ghanaian superstar Andre Ayew, Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Franck Tabanou and Portuguese striker Eder as his main transfer window deals, all four arriving for small sums.
“The transfer market has gone crazy – especially for home-grown players,” Henry wrote in his column for The Sun.
“They are all good players but it certainly doesn’t make life any easier for them that they have huge price tags to justify.
“That is why teams like Stoke, Swansea and West Ham are being clever and looking abroad for good cheaper talent.”
